			  Alright dudes and dudettes, it's time to ride the (synth)wave!

* ACE ABSTRACT
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Like, what's up all my Smash Modding bros and bro-ettes? It's the totally bodacious SirGimmick, back at it with a radical recolor!

A choice costume!

Some tubular threads!

...where was I? Oh yeah, talking about my mod.
What you see before you, might be considered "just a regular costume" by regular people and dweebs. But this baby is a genuine, original, and 100% custom made Synthwave Sunshine Mario recolor made not just for you, but for the totally tight, Custom Brawl Modding "Favorite Color Contest". I think synthwave and A E S T H E T I C palettes and color schemes are super schweet, so I had to give a "just-as-schweet" costume this treatment.

But, you're probably not here to hear me rag. Let's book it to the contents.

* CHOICE CONTENTS
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Whoa, dudes and dude-ttes! Where do you think you're going. At least see what's inside:

1.) MarioXX [Synthwave].pac (& MarioXX [SynthwaveGridlines].pac) - The costume files! It's where all the magic happens, big time. For all you modders, I don't need to explain...but for you newbies? It contains everything about a character the game needs to load! All those bodacious models, textures, shaders, etc.? It's all in here.

Most mods nowadays are extra righteous, and only need the .pac file. Make sure you check your files beforehand, though!

2.) Cosmetics - All your visual needs are here, right in this folder! CSPs, Battle Portraits, Stocks...everything you need, this tubular folder has it. Dolphin is especially down with modern tech advancements, as it can use HD cosmetics.

Luckily, you can count on old SirGimmick to come in clutch. I've got both SD and HD cosmetics avaliable at your choosing.

* HARSH ISSUES & UPDATES
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

[6/10/2021]
WOAH, DUDE! A TOTALLY GNARLY UPDATE!

Yup, no foolin' dudes and dude-ettes! Your one and only righteous bro Mario is back and better than ever! With a sick revamped costume by SJS, Synthwave Sunshine Mario looks better than ever!
More details!
More natural colors!
Better rigging!

Thanks to the power of improved UVs and an overall more schweet model, this costume is ready for the big-time...for real! It doesn't even have any resize issues, so no need to spaz out over it not being "tourney legal". And it comes with an alternate version that adds a faded, neon blue grid to the jacket. Now that the contest is done and over with, I think I can start giving you tubular modders some rad bells and whistles.

Keep being way cool you all! And enjoy this bitchin' update!

Unfortunately, I've got one barf-worthy issue I need to tell you all about. It's minor, though:

1.) When importing the model into 3DS Max, something about the import (or, importing process) makes the model spazz out, and creates black spots on the model. Apparently, the black spots are due to planes interecting and stuff. It's pretty grody.

I "fixed" it, by moving the model's faces apart from each other...but I might have made the shirt a bit larger than it's supposed to be. from the screenshots I posted, it didn't seem like a problem (or at least, a notable one). If you're not one of them competitive dudes and dude-ettes, then beyond potentially looking odd, it won't bother you.
If you do spazz out when costumes aren't 1:1 competitive though...be warned...

* HAPPEN'EN CREDITS
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We're almost to the end, bros and bro-ettes! Just gotta mention a few rad names:

* SJS, Tyleto, StarWaffle - For being righteous modders and giving the people an *even better* Sunshine Mario! Seriously, how does keep improving on such a passed around idea...?
Special mention goes to SJS for sending me the Blender scene personally...even if it was only because they forgot to add it and I DM'ed them about it.

* DrDean - For the sick, original "Vacation Mario" mod. Dude started a revolution, with this costume!

* MarioDox - For being a rad guy, who improved on the DrDean's vision! V1 wouldn't have been the same without it. I hope that you can get more people to make some wicked stages with deadly hazards in the future!

* Shy - For the Blender set-up for V1. It helped out, big time. Granted, it's not in use anymore. But with it, I was able to get it done for CBM in the first place.

* Cosmetic Standardization Project - For the CSProject system. Shy and SJS may have edited their scenes, but it is still their system. It's ace.

* Custom Brawl Modding - For having that bitchin' contest in the first place! That, and for all the choice feedback I got! Your critiques made this costume even more illin' than what I started off with. Thanks, my dudes and dude-ettes! I hope I can enter more contests in the future...as long as I know I can get them done in time, you know.

* PM Remix, Smash Cafe, CSP Server, etc. - For all the righteous words and comments. I'm happy that I can provide you bros and bro-ettes a tubular costume to use.

*supercool101 - For BrawlCrate (and BrawlCrate NEXT). I've said it once, and I'll say it again: This is a schweet program.

*Adobe - For Photoshop and Illustrator. Especially the latter, which I made the Shine Sprite decal in. I don't like thanking these hosers, but they're here. I really need to find a photo editing tool that won't make me gag...

*Autodesk - For 3DS Max. This program might be trippin's with recent developments, but I did do UV and model edits in it. So, into the credit list it goes.

*Blender - For rendering purposes. After all, the sick CSProject was built on top of it! Still more useful and less barf inducing than 3DS Max...but I still gotta run out my student clock on 3DS Max, so I still use it...

*Nintendo - For Smash Bros. and for Super Mario Sunshine. The recent ports are lackluster and pretty grody...but the original games are still tight! And this costume is also pretty down and happen'en! I also gotta thank them for the render, which I used as a reference for that sick Shine Sprite decal. Why don't you do more of this stuff when it comes to Smash costumes?

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
* SICK SHILLING
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Aw yeah! Another mod down! It's not the next thing I was hoping to get done, but palettes are great stop-gaps and easy to get done. Especially when they come out as righteous as this one. Hopefully you all enjoy this and the other rad mods in this contest! Seriously, the competition is looking pretty wicked out there! Good luck to all the dudes and dude-ettes competing in this tight contest!

I'm down with that!

Woah! You found the Super Secret Section! It's pretty flash. And it comes with trivia!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
* I referenced about 15 different synthwave images for this costume. I ended up mainly referencing one, however.
* There were a bunch of scrapped details in this project. Namely text on the back, an alternate Shine Sprite logo, and a neon grid on the shirt's back. The first idea didn't make it, but the third one definitely did...in the alternate take, at least.
* The mod took me about 1-2 days to finish. Coming up with the idea took even less time (despite mulling over what my favorite colors were). I only broke up my working days, because college is grody.
* I made a Photoshop image, detailing out what official and fan-made costumes of Mario color and did not color. Overkill? Maybe, but it stopped me from making many barf-worthy palettes or changes.
* I regret dragging out this joke until the end. I look like a dweeb, and this joke is totally "to the curb".
